Just because it's a fraction of what it used to be doesn't mean it isn't growing not to mention the video game industry has grown meaning more people to market towards fighting games(Mortal Kombat recently did great). I would have said fighting games were dead around 10 or so years ago but Street Fighter 4 came out and put them back on the map.
