First, why didn't they get pro players to do the stream?? It was so annoying to watch.
I think PoO looks cool, something different.
Pros:
- more dependent on thumb skills rather than cheese tactics
- both matchmaking and LFG elements
- repeatable event plus one-per-week event
- variety in modifiers and waves
Overall, I think it'll be great. Though I'm more excited for ToO
Thoughts?

Strikes- Just longer and harder story missions. Lazy Raids- Just 4 part strikes that are harder. Lazy PvP- Just tell people to kill eachother. Lazy Nightfalls- just harder strikes with better rewards. Lazy The Reef- just another tower. Lazy Trials of Osiris- Just harder PvP. With no matchmaking. Lazy Prison of elders- just a bunch of enemies in a pit and you have to kill them. And no matchmaking. Lazy

You say it's more about skills than cheese tactics, but you know as we all do that anything in Destiny can be cheesed one way or another. My money goes through somebody glitching behind a wall and using armor piercing rounds. The true hero will not be who completes it first, but whoever can find a way to cheese it to help other Guardians be lazy for loot.

I have a group of four friends and we love playing destiny together, especially raids. When I saw that PoE was not only a horde but a three man horde mode, I only felt disappointed. For groups of 4, 5, or 6 people who raid together, this drives them apart. :/
-
I was talking with a friend of mine during the reveal, I think the reason they chose not to use pro players was to show that PoE actually is difficult.
-
Edgar Allan? Good dude, much love. Throw it u for Poe!
-
Gjallarhorn is great to have again, and hunters became useless hahaha #rekt
-
I think the ones that consistently get high kills in raids will love this and the objectives are just awesome. Theres not a go to weapon since the burns will rotate so i can see people carrying a variety of weapons to compensate.
-
Honestly I think it looked great, can't wait to try it. Defiantly looks like a challenge on level 34 or higher, I also like the fact that you can just jump into it and play a matchmade level anytime, but that you get better rewards playing with your own fireteam at a higher level. I think it's great to have something new and different in destiny! People crying about no raid are going to get there buts kicked in this because unlike a raid you have to constantly be on the move in this and there's enemies coming from all sides, looking really intense.

As long as my teammates are better than broman and DeeJ I will enjoy it a lot I think.
-
I like it a lot. HYPE.
-
Looks like a true pve experience. I didn't have high hopes for house of wolves but it's looking pretty good so far
-
They were trying to show you how it looks if you play with randoms and twelve year olds (Broman).
-
My thoughts are that I'll be carrying people through it every week and there will be an abundance of people rage quitting. :)
-
Because the average destiny player isn't a pro
-
Its not the process that keeps me going, it's the thought, "If I kill more and perform well, then I might get better rewards.". So killing these enemies over and over doesn't bother a true guardian. -An Excerpt From Loot Cave Lore
-
Is there somewhere I can watch it since I missed it?
-
The hype is real, can't wait for how to drop it seems so far out now
-
Honestly... not impressed at all.. Just looks like Strikes with a couple more objectives thrown in. Seriously... aren't most strikes already teams of 3 people ... who have to fight off 3 waves while dinklebot opens a door? So now you have to difuse some mines..... and instead of riding your scooter around to the next point you just return to some airlock. I was LOLing at the 1 hour mark where Deej says "this is not a strike"... cause I'm thinking, that's exactly what it is. Seriously.. how is this not just a longer strike? What am I missing?
-
It's cool but the lack of matchmaking completely kills it. Why bother replacing Raid with this thing if you're just going to give it the same problem that kept so many people from playing Raid? Here's your sign.
-
Awsome. I have a Titan and a Hunter friend on stand by.
-
The guys that were playing were absolute shit but I was liking what I was seeing
-
Also prison of elders will be something better to play than to watch. Strikes are not all that fun to watch but are engaging when you play them.
-
Hard to watch the stream, but I liked what I saw. Watched a couple of other PoE vids on YouTube, and I was impressed. Too bad we couldn't see the Vex :(
-
I think it's going to be great, just wish we got to see them finish and saw the drops...
-
Can't wait. Already have a close nit of friends POE is going to be a cake walk. Broman looked like a a moron on Twitch. Cannot believe they couldn't even complete it all at lvl 34. Get carried.
