Destiny = Pokemon

I'm almost certain a topic like this has come up at least once before in the history of these forums, the likeness is just too real. For anyone who doesn't know about the main Pokemon titles, they are pretty catered for hardcore PvP players (Don't laugh, it's true!) the PvE aspects of Pokemon only exists for casual/non-pvp interested players, BUT MOSTLY for PvP players to gather good Pokemon to use in PvP. Destiny is just Pokemon with guns! Don't get me wrong, this isn't a complaint post, I love it. As a former hardcore pokemon player and as someone who's primary interest in Destiny is PvP, I think it's a great set-up. For a PvP player, our main incentive to do PvE activities is to collect weapons to use in PvP. It's a pretty unique concept for an FPS. It even applies down to the small details of truly dedicated PvP players spending hours doing the same thing over and over again and praying to RNG for their weapons/Pokemon to roll with just the right stats and moves for the playstyle they intend to use them for. Guardians are just slightly less violent Pokemon Trainers!!! Edit: I find it pretty entertaining how many people on this forum can't just let a fun observation/topic be without having to get mad and argue about it xD
