Ya Halo Reach, or better yet, Destiny Prototype, was just made to make money and shit on the canon

My theory was that it was Bungie's middle finger to Microsoft. Since they were forced to make Reach before they left, they decided to F with Microsoft's most important game franchise. I know it's likely not true, but I like to believe it is, since I can't come up with any other logical reason for them to do what they did.
