Oh I'd go full Mage for the best effect but I doubt it would make huge diff... I thought pyromancy was the easiest way to go so I thought magics could carry a game but seems more like a supplement than a carry:/
I don't think I would ever magi bosses... Just the normals. I couldn't imagine magi doing that well on bosses compared to tanks

On the PS3, I was full mage and did a bit more damage. I put points into strength later just to use the BKGS. If I use soul spear, I do pretty good damage. I don't use it much because I only have 2 without the ring. I just like having heavy armor and shield. Sorcery sucks in the dlc.

Yhea when I went through as tank game got pretty easy after queelag. I never put points into vit because as long as I have enough endurance and dam didn't need vit
