Timur's Lash needs a nerf

This gun is stupid, it has almost max impact. It dominates PvP, it needs to be balanced bungie I'm sick of getting murdered by it when I'm using an exotic gun like Suros. I don't want to go to heavy on nerfs and all I'm sick of pea shooters like everybody else, I think the best bet is to nerf reload speed.
This will make everybody happy since they still have a powerful gun but once they are out of ammo they have to wait like 45 seconds to reload and continue on a spree, giving other guns a chance when they are unable to defend themselves. What do you guys think?
[spoiler]Anybody who hasn't been tipped off by nerfing the RoF on the slowest shotgun in the game and adding an outlandish 45 second reload to an already meh gun needs to reevaluate what they are arguing about[/spoiler]

You can't possibly be cereal.... In no way is timurs lash easy to use. At least for me. It shoots slow as shit. You have to be extra precise because of this. I mean to be honest the dead orbit hand cannon is, in my opinion, a better choice because the stats are similar but it has a higher fire rate. Learn to dodge/side step.

I doesn't need a nerf at all. To be honest I have no idea how you lose gunfights to it do to its slow fire rate. You might want to turn down the suck haha.

Is this serious? I've only been killed by Timurs a couple times. Yes, it's very powerful but fire rate seems too slow to be very effective in PVP.

1 ReplyJust for your information, without reloads like feeding frenzy or outlaw and without armor to increase handcannon reload speed it has probably the slowest reload of any none heavy slot weapon.

First problem, you're using suros.

2 Repliesdude. the reload speed on that gun is controlled by the perks on it. some happen to have outlaw and flared mag well because they spent the motes to reroll their subpar perks that came with the gun. not all have it. if u wanna use an assault rifle...make sure u can head shot with it or you'll die from handcannons. headshot headshot headshot then it doesn't matter what u use.

1 ReplyYou have got to be trolling or extremely ignorant. This post is one of the most ludicrous threads I have seen in a while. How can you say this gun needs a nerf when the reload speed and stability are horrible unless you have perks to make up for it. Even if you get a perk to negate the negative, the likelihood that someone will have both is rather low on top of the fact that very few people actually have or use this weapon in pvp over a wide variety of other choices.
