Nothing wrong with it. It has benefits and drawbacks. [u][b]Pros[/b]:[/u] - getting to know someones personality without the veil of physical appearance - at least one shared common interest - [i]relatively[/i] safe early in the relationship [u][b]Cons[/b]:[/u] - after meeting in real life, reality may not live up to expectations - if there is a distance between the two individuals, neither may be willing to give up their offline life to be with the other, preventing the relationship from moving forward - easier for people to hide their true selves/lead a double life All in all, I say it's worth a shot.
