Are you ready

Xur told me I had to choose a new name. I asked why but he only said, "Because you are no longer yourself." I didn't really understand it, but I accepted it. I said, "My new name shall be Nuke Seawalker." Xur didn't give much of a reply, just a strange guttural grunt and he handed me something shiny. It was warm to my touch and vibrated gently in my hand. I asked, "What it was?" He replied, "These mysterious coins are something I've been collecting for a long time. The vibration they give off can either attract or repel the narwhal." He pulled himself up by the ships mast and looked towards the horizon. You could see the level of his concentration. It was very focused, like he was threading a needle through an atom. The gently rocking of the boat against the ocean waves was soothing. I could feel the oceans spray upon me and the sun on my face. Suddenly though, from out of nowhere the sky went dark...The waves grew more intense and it started to become cold. Xur looked down at me and asked, "Are you ready?" He then motioned for me to get up and look to where he pointed. As I stood up on the deck, carefully balancing myself. I looked out and was filled with shear terror. We were headed for an immense whirlpool, which was drinking up the ocean with an undeterred thirst for all. "Xur!" I shouted, "We're headed straight for it!" He replied in his usual dry manner, "I know... We must acquire you a weapon to fight the narwhal...and there is only one place for such a thing..." His voice trailed off, and I could see that he was in deep reflection. He then said, "We must take you to the deep below expansion. There you will find Chief Mucloc and you will be tested." I stared at the whirlpool, which was now pulling in the boat faster and faster. The roaring of the water was so loud that I had to shout, "You'll be with me right?" but I looked back, and he was gone just like that...I took one last deep breath as the water pulled me under and said to myself, "Just like everything else in this world, I guess I'm going to have to go it alone..."
