You may only pick 1 of the above items, you can not take anything extra, and it must be one of the items above, the are [b]no other[/b] options, and you cannot say anything else.
Also with the NES and TV you have no Internet connection. You may pick the 5 games though.
The island has coconut trees, but the coconuts are beyond reach without climbing. Also there are a few caves. The soil is mostly fertile/ good for planting garlic.
The blanket is bright pink with dark green dots, and pictures of ugly ponies on it, but very warm and fuzzy, and king sized.
The chair is made out of wood.
The can-opener is a standard normal can opener made of medal with a plastic handle. The toothpaste is orange flavored, and the toothbrush is blue, it is Crest pro-health ultra sensitive brand.
On the island there are also a lot of hamsters everywhere. (Because I could not think o anything better.) The hamsters eat the grass
There is union grass and crab grass and normal grass.
Other plants include peonies and Venus fly traps, and a special type of bean that makes you have to go number 2 ten minutes after consumption. There are also dandelions, and aweird plant that dances when you get near it, and is not Groot.
There are strange fluffy (non poisones) leaves in the forest in the middle of the island. But that is where all the scorpions and red ants are.
The air is hot during the day. There is rain at least once a week. It can reach 40*f at night.
The insects/bugs located on the island include red ants, not-very-poisones scorpions (least poisones kind), stink bugs, caterpillars/ butterflies, and daddy long legs spiders.
Species of sea creature include king crabs, great white sharks, sea urchins, and Minecraft fish, and also the Kraken.
There is salt in the caves, but you would need some light to find it. The caves have fresh water, but only deep in the caves. The caves go to the edge if the Earth's crust
There is flint on the island, but only i the scorpion and coconut tree forest.
Oh yah, forgot to mention. The TV and NES are powered by salt. Just stick the cords in salt, and they should work.
The size of the island is undetermined because no one knows it exists.
The island is sustainable because it is magic and the animals and plants have evolved to live on the island.
Guns are illegal on the island. If the hamster police catch you with a gun they will turn into invulnerable monsters and will kill you. Also apple turn extremely toxic to humans upon entering a 1 mile radius around the island. Also Chuck Noris is allergic to this island. Fatebringers (what ever that is) disintegrate upon entering a 1 mile radius around the island. Hamster don't like Techmo Super Bowls. You also can not bring anyone else with you on the island, because then the hamster would get suspicious and kill you both very painfully. If you bring the "Don't click this button" button, the hamster will get angry with you, and kill you. All boats sink upon entering a 5 mile radius of the island because of the Kraken living nearby. All planes explode in midair when they reach a 7.5 mile radius of the island. Hamsters don't like playstations and Xboxes. Te Tartus would disintegrate upon landing in the island. Crayons like to come alive on the island, But they like hamsters a lot more than humans.

Update/Edit: The animals and plants have specially adapted to survive on the island.
Update: I never knew what garlic could do, until today.
Update/Edit: The hamsters live in a little hamster town i the middle of the island called Hamburg.
Update/ Edit: Just want to make this clear, you are not in the Bermuda Triangle.
Update/ Edit: I learned everything I know about this island from Mr.Hamster the 100th, a former inhabitant of the island. (It took him a year to swim to the US from the island)(Hamsters are fast swimmers) Little known fact: Hamsters are the smartest animal alive.

4 RepliesA chair so i can get that ocean breeze, ill become friends with the Hamsters and Ponies, ill ally them with the scorpions and we shall lay waist to the ants, i will them proceed to have them develop a wmd made of coconuts and salt. Me and the dancing plant shall become friends, I shall call it Groot. It turns out this plant really is Groot and he helps me find my way home once i let him use my chair so he can have something comfier. Once we hit another country me, Groot, the Scorpions and Hamsters shall lay waist to all who oppose us with our WMDs made of salt and coconuts. The end

5 RepliesThe NES and TV win, hands down. [spoiler] Firstly the can opener, chair, garlic (it grows from the previous years cloves BTW, not seeds) and toothbrush/toothpaste are all useless. The can opener because I would assume there are no cans on the island and I wouldn't take it on the off chance of finding some. Without a can to open it would essentially be just a very small and very restricted blade. The chair because other than providing a small amount of fire wood and possibly a few screws. The island has coconuts, therefore coconut trees therefore firewood. The garlic cloves, whilst highly nutritious and growable, take about 10 months from planting to first fruiting. Finally the toothpaste and toothbrush. Teeth survive a lot better with pretty much any sugar, even fructose or sucrose, than with glucose. The chances of there being any glucose based plants on the island are small, so you effectively have a plastic stick and a tube of fluorinated mint goo. No real uses for either. You could theoretically use the toothpaste to sterilise water, but it wouldn't last long, boiling does the same job and fluorine lowers bone density. It's also possible to fashion a toothbrush yourself. The flashlight seems like a good idea at first, what with the only fresh water being deep in a cave, but it would run out eventually (even if it could run off of salt like the NES and TV). You could use it or, without batteries, the mirror to signal, but the island's uncharted so it probably wouldn't be near any shipping lanes. The blanket would probably be my second choice as it gets so cold at night. (That's 4.5 degreesC btw). But that would be it's only real use, you can make a hammock or bed yourself. The NES, TV and 5 Games would be the best option though. Not that it makes much difference, but I'm assuming you mean the Nintendo Entertainment System so there'd be no laser, and that the TV is of a similar age. Take the TV apart, separate the ariel, receiver circuitry and speaker from the rest of it. Use spare wire to turn the receiver into a transmitter and use the speaker to tap out an SOS over multiple frequencies. Hopefully the speaker would be able to work as a microphone if someone made contact. You should also be able to use the glass in the TV to signal, the magnets to create a dynamo and the case of the NES/games to make chemical batteries. Don't think there'd be enough wire for both though. [/spoiler]

2 RepliesIm not gonna read all the crap about the island but I choose toothbrush + toothpaste because 1. I can use toothpaste to blind wild animals as i slaughter them for food 2. I can use toothpaste as food 3. I can use thee toothbrush as a mini weapon 4. I can use the toothbrush to pet the wild animals with, making them super relaxed and causing them to fall asleep. As they sleep, I kill + eat them. 5. I can shove the toothbrush down animal's throats if they are trying to eat me

Edited by Whale Tail Soup: 5/4/2015 2:20:56 PMI take the chair I can stand on it grab coconuts then smash then on the back of the chair then I can use the chair to hit helpless hamsters then make my way back to the caves and put the hamsters there then il go to the ant/scorpions take my chair and slowly stand and jump from the chair onto trees to be safe from ant/scorpions grab some flint then head back to the cave area il destroy my chair light a huge fire with my flint than cook my hamsters and use the hamster skin and start making a soft bed and use my flint to sharpen a stick for a weapon then i will use one of my pieces of flint and a stick then use the coconut fibers to tie it on and use it as an axe and cut open my coconuts and have some hamster and coconut milk :) [spoiler]THE END[/spoiler]
