I wouldn't recommend the Forlorn Scythe; I recently upgraded it, and the weapon scales with hollowing, and does very little damage unless you're at least 40% hollow, and isn't even that powerful when you're fully hollow. It has really good bleed damage though. Reaper class weapons are a good choice in terms of unique weapons though, they're hugely underrated in my eyes, although hitting enemies with the 'sweet spot' does take some getting used to.
