My family has always been poor. About a year ago, my dad got laid off from his work. It was a well paying job to compensate supporting a large family. It is the only thing to do in Houston but the risky oil industry. With debts and all, it took him months to find another job. Eventually, my dad found a new job in the same field, with a promise of keeping him working for a long time. It was only recently when he was laid off by this company. With the same debts, a day to figure out health insurance, and two weeks of pay after getting laid off, our family was worse then when we started. I don't want you to feel bad for me, I just want you to know that I am a person here who actually can't pay to donate.
