That's all you have to say, well.... To try and argue about where we came from I thought you would say something simple and small... Go on ahead, tell me "we came from monkeys!" Well where did the monkeys come from? "From a meteor, etc!" Where did they come from? "The Big Bang!" How would it or could of it even happened without God creating it? God created everything... Exactly what that bible says "in the beginning God created the heavens and earth"

Using your exact logic someone could ask where God came from.

Edited by SSG ACM: 5/13/2015 5:29:25 PMGod is infinite, meaning He has no origin in time since being omnipotent, makes Him the creator of all time; therefore, He has no existence in time. This explanation also adequately solves the problem of finite things in existence needing an infinite cause for even the possibility of self-manifestation in existence.

Gods always been here, who put you here?
-
Prove that he has always been here. My parents.
-
Edited by Jack: 5/13/2015 5:55:31 PMI said what I said because you have no idea what evolution is. We did not come from monkeys, we did not come from a meteor. A long time ago a primate branched off into different regions of the world, and millions of years later after many adaptations and mutations, we became a completely different species. The fossil record, our DNA, genes, chromosomes all prove this. All of this most likely happened without a god, because there are no holes for god to fill. It has all been explained, God would have no purpose whatsoever if he were involved. If you say God created everything, you have to prove it.
-
Noticed he said, "...thousands of years later..."
Contradiction alert.
-
Thanks, that was a mistake
-
Wow... And i thought physics was ridiculous.
-
I have to prove God did it? Well your talking, breathing, and arguing, and that's good enough evidence, gods the first and the last, the beginning and the end, the alpha and omega, and what kind of theory is we "mutated" from something? Who put that something there?
-
I am talking, breathing and arguing because certain muscles contract and expand because my brain sends electrical pulses. That's simple anatomy, not evidence for a man in the sky. That theory, you do not understand. Don't dismiss it because you haven't been properly educated about it. Why is your question who? Why does it have to be a who?
-
Really? So I want you to take someones body.. take the parts off, and shake them in a bag. Will you ever get an assembled body? I don't think so.
-
What is my question? My question is why don't you accept the one and only God, THE ONE WHO PUT YOU HERE<----(trying to prove that point) he Made us, not science.... Religion without science is boring but science without religion is wrong...
-
To explain that science made us paradoxical. Even if evolutionists claim this, it isn't used in the correct context. I like your standpoint, but you have to understand that if you ask any acclaimed evolutionary dreamer on origins on anything, they will reply something to the effect of, "Evolution doesn't explain that yet." Translation:
"We haven't theorized about it yet."
So they will always admittedly connect it as something believed by faith.
-
Your question is who put that something here. But there is no need for it to be a who. No being had to put life in the universe. I don't accept your god, or the other thousands of gods that both of us don't accept, because none of them have been demonstrated to exist. Haha no science didn't make us, no one says that. Religion without science is religion, science without religion is just an understanding of our actual circumstances.
-
What is science? The study of our physical surroundings right?
-
False.
-
sci·ence ˈsīəns/ noun the intellectual and practical activity encompassing the systematic study of the structure and behavior of the physical and natural world through observation and experiment. "the world of science and technology" synonyms:branch of knowledge, body of knowledge/information, area of study, discipline, field "the science of criminology"
-
Ok... so you just said that it is the study of the world around us. Observation. So... How can you observe what supposedly happened trillions of years ago? Cause you have to study something physically... and despite what you say, looking at the stars or looking at fossils does not show you a physical observation of what happened.. so you how do you mange that one?
-
First, did you just say trillions of years ago? The universe isn't trillions of years old. We have fossils, DNA, observation of change in species, ring species, mutations, adaptations, the Galapagos, Chromosome 2, radiometric/carbon dating. We have a lot of things that prove evolution.
-
Oh! So you have seen evolution with your own eyes happen?
-
-
Oh... darn. You can't Oopsy.
-
I actually can observe evolution
-
But how? If you can, then I can. So tell me how. Also... It said the thread was repoterted..If you want to keep talking, when the page pops up and said its awaiting justice, go to the website bar, and take off the 1 at the end of it, and then press enter. It allows you to bypass the lock.
-
Correction: He can only see variations of the same species. So...nope. Not the evolution we are talking about.
