Any tips for the fort area where you climb down the ladder next to the old lady and the bonfire and then go up the tree and past the turtle thing and climb down. I'm currently lvl 36

Well, once you climb down you turn left, and then you can go forward or right. Forward and left then left again leads you to the first boss and a shortcut to the first ladder. Right leads you to a ladder where if you go left at top you can kill a whole bunch of mobs easily then go back to the guy sitting down he will give you a white sign soapstone which allows you to help other players and get souls.
