No, not after the special ammo nerf. It used to be open to abuse, but not as much longer.

It's gonna get abused when ToO comes on. Believe me.
-
That's unfortunately likely, yes.
-
I beg to differ...
-
Per definition it's not open to as much abuse as it used to be. However, there is a caveat, being that you can roll Double Down and Field Scout, at which point it's open to abuse and more.

Edited by john_osborne: 5/13/2015 10:36:44 AMNah, it still is man... I don't often get shot by these cheapass losers since I usually keep my head (And body) down... But during this one Skirmish Match these two players were doing nothing but camping near Special Ammo boxes and taking them and even though we were close to winning, they found this nice little room and pulled out their guns and started oneshotting us and they won. :/// I don't mind the Final Round Perk but cheapass players like them abuse it so much and this behavior kinda spreads throughout the playerbase kinda like a "Tryhard/Git Gud/Git #Rekt" Plague and makes other players see this gun and it's specific rolls as being "alright" to use despite the clear bullshitty nature of it. Jeeze I hope Bungie fixes this before ToO comes out... I'm also hoping for an AR Buff. Not too much to make them the most powerful things like they were before but enough to make them actually useful.

I agree lots of cheap players on Destiny. I cant stand shogun blink
-
Ah now that's actually easy to counter. Just Sprint Forward and Slide while they're thrown off you could shotgun them. It's a neat little trick.
-
I dont use shotguns, i have a great roll for felwinters. I use fusion or snipe.
-
Oh yeah or FRs. And maybe two melee attacks if you got armor on that increases melee attack speed.

Edited by iZnth: 5/13/2015 10:37:23 AMThat's fair enough. I wouldn't say that's representative of an entire community, but yeah, those kinds of players need to sort their lives out.
-
Yeah I'm not talking about the whole community, I'm just talking about those ones who clearly use weapons that are generally exploited to gain some form of advantage over players.
