I didn't think this needed to be said, but I've seen enough posts to warrant this.
Leave Veterans, of any war, out of your posts unless you are paying respects. We are not jokes. We are not comment fodder. We actually have served, fought, and many died so you can live as you want. Show us enough respect to do that please.
Sincerely, USAF Veteran.
EDIT: To all the veterans of any branch, thank you for your service and comments. To everyone else who supports them, I would like to personally thank you. And to the few who found bait in this, shame on you.

Veteran here. Never experienced anything but positive feedback. Minor joking about different branches is hardly offensive. Thanks to all veterans for signing a blank check to the government to do as they wish with you. I have been on teams with Coast Guard, Army, Marines, Airforce, and Navy. We all selected a branch for different reasons, but we still served. I am thankful that I made the choice. Maybe if everyone went to boot camp after high school, it would build instant character. I'm not saying everyone should enter the service, but 9-12 weeks of boot camp does wonders for your attitude . Play on fellow vets, and thanks again. I know it has shaped the way I treat people.
