Ok, so in all probability I am going to get to Iron Banner level 3 probably before reset today or probably early tomorrow. But, I have been thinking why? Is it worth it? The reason I ask this, is because I am ONLY playing IB for the weapons, but then I think of the current weapons I have already rolled through luck. My opinion for these Sniper Rifles is strictly for Crucible. Firstly, Efrideets Spear, and what I already have. Preadyths Revenge. Void damage. SLH25 scope. We all know it, and the RoF is GREAT, considering the damage modeling where all sniper rifles are two body shot anyway (with exceptions) then we all know PR is a beast in Crucible. Then I have a LDR-5001, Arc Damage. It has SLS15 scope, Final Round, Spray and Play, should I ever want to abuse that Final Round ability, Spray and Play gives a quick reload for the mag. Mag capacity of 4. Longbow Synthesis, Void Damage. It has the coveted SLH25 scope, Rodeo, and Final Round. There is a stability perk in the middle tree that along with the SLH25 scope, gives a maxed stability bar. Mag capacity of 5. I can either use this one for two relatively rapid body shots if I miss the headshot (reasonably probable) or one with the Final Round. When shooting, the reticle moves just similar to Preadyths Revenge, just suffers slightly lower RoF. What possible rolls can I get with Efrideets Spear, that will be better than those SR's I have just listed? I also have the Black Hammer, to have an SR in that impact archetype for PvE should that ever become needed? I also find the RoF for the high impact SR's to be a tad slow in Crucible when chasing that second shot if needed? Secondly, Timurs Lash. I already have had a number of Painted Big Chief Mk. 45, Primed Big Sky Mk. 48, Regulator Mk. 56 drop for me. All those all have the same impact as Timurs Lash, I have kept the Primed Big Sky simply because of the perks Grenadier and Send It. Stability is slightly better than TL. So, what kind of great Timurs Lash rolls would one look for in Crucible? I am thinking Outlaw or Zen Moment, and then Grenadier or Crowd Control or Luck in the Chamber?? Perhaps explosive rounds for clearing out trash in PvE? I have noticed that TR doesn't really get a lot of use in Crucible, like, nearly none, so is Timurs Lash more of a PvE weapon anyway? I rarely see it in Crucible, I assume there are simply more viable options than TL if you want to run with a non-exotic HC? So please, if you have used these weapons in Crucible and you have found some fantastic rolls, better than what I have specified that I have, what are your thoughts about the rolls and how do they perform?
