I've always loved video games, from even before I had the ability to form full logical sentences from my mouth. I don't know if I'm just starting to get too old for video games or games these days are just boring.
Is anyone else having a problem like this (or has experienced it) as they enter adulthood? I hope I'm not the only one...

Take a break. Watch something on Netflix, read a book, go outside (JK). You'll get back in the mood at some point.
-
Indie games and mods, try unturned on steam, early access, free with lots of mods to spice up gameplay
-
Maybe you just need a break from games. Too much of a good thing can be bad, you will learn this lesson as you get older
-
......... Kill the Heretic!
But it's not really you, It's lazy devs.
-
Try to open up to more of the indie games you may be suprised!

Edited by Conehead: 5/1/2015 12:28:24 AMFelt the same for the past 2 years. I was turned on to CSGO from a friend and now it's all I play unless there is a solid single player game out
-
A lot of games they put out nowadays are pretty boring. I'm actually thankful that its warming up outside so I can do yard work.

Edited by Keyakku: 4/30/2015 3:26:54 PMthen go outside, go kyakakaking cut down a tree or shrub, mow the lawn, burn your system and sacrifice it to add x amount of mana, which can only be spent on dragon sub-type creatures. cut down a tree, tap it and add 3 green mana to your field. cast "mow lawn" and add 2 red mana to your field cast... kayak and place 2 tiny oar creature tokens onto the field that have "tap, sacrifice and add 1 more kayak to the field"

Get a kayak?

I am because the quality of games is becoming 1983 quality. I'm going to be buying killing floor 2 today and hoping it's good (really enjoy the first one) and waiting for WH40K: Eternal Crusade, No Man's Sky, Star Citizen and Crowfall to come out.
-
Quit playing them. U will either go back to them or move on. Certainly not a crisis lol. Try dark souls 2. Alot of older gamers compare it to the zelda of the new gen
-
Like some else said, try new genres or go back and play a classic game. I've been bored too, MKX doesn't cut it alone. So, I bough a old copy of Star Wars KOTOR. Even if it's clunky by today's standard, I haven't had this much fun in a while

Awee my baby is becoming a man.... Time for a beer
-
Just take a break for a few weeks.. You'll come back loving them more than ever. I typically quit playing over the summer and get back into it once boating season is over.
-
Go do something productive then.
-
Games just aren't the same quality anymore
-
Branch out. Try new genres. I was getting bored for a while, realized I was only playing shooters, and started playing some other stuff.
-
I know this feel. Metal Gear Solid V might be the last game I pick up for awhile.
-
Go try indies or old games that you enjoyed.
-
Wait 20 days and we'll see if Witcher 3 sparks that up again.
-
Yah you just got to find your groove. That one type of videogaming that makes you truly happy!
-
Just follow what you enjoy doing. Maybe another hobby is overlapping?
-
Simple, get a job, buy a next gen console, wide range of new games for you.
-
I'm experiencing this too. Just play a few games with some friends over, that always makes things more entertaining, no matter how bad the game is.
-
Play dark souls

Edited by Retro_Spective: 4/30/2015 12:08:06 AMGames are going stale, most studio's play it safe, release the same recycled games year after year. You need to find the diamond's in the rough. Try Bloodborne as it's a fresh experience, unlike anything else on the market at the moment.
