Fighters really don't die out though. Tekken 6 is still pretty populated and look how old that game is.

Define "pretty populated" I'd imagine there's less people on Tekken 6 than on games like MW3 and Halo 4 for example. People play it yes but the games are nowhere near as popular or have the longevity of shooters specifically shooters with multiplayer
