Can someone in the US tell me...
When is this vote for national marriage equality that I've seen about on Facebook? I'm guessing later today or tomorrow.

The case of marriage equality is being heard by the u.s. supreme court. So what's going to happen is lawyers are going to make oral arguments, both for and against marriage equality. After a week or so of hearing the case made by both sides, the judges of the court will debate and discuss between themselves. Usually it takes about a month. Aftet each one has decided, they vote. Majority rule decides the outcome. Either 1) marriage equality is a constitutionality protected right, and same sex marriage becomes legal nation wide. 2) same sex marriage is not a constitutionality protected right, and each state decides if it will be legal for that state. 3) no vote held, court doesn't rule either way. Same sex marriage is currently a state issue, so there could never be a national vote on it in the status quo.

That has yet to make sense to me f@ck your two party system it doesn't work when both parties cut each others throats and never seem to cease the greed for money even if it makes everyone else suffer the consequences. F@cking politics.

The only thing I know is that the Supreme Court held a hearing today for those who believe in traditional marriage to be kept by the U.S. or something of that nature. It was earlier this morning. Not sure about the vote.

It'll be state by state vs the Supreme Court because we are super efficient like that. Instead of one court case to resolve the issue , we will have 50. Just seems reasonable that way.
