Aim assist can be both useful and a pain in the butt. For primary weapons, getting those subtle nudges to the enemy can be nice, but get that shit out of there when I'm sniping. It's annoying, but I can see why auto-aim is in the game.
How do you guys feel about it?

I find aim assist helps with twin stick controller games, when it works, too annoying in Destiny especially when another enemy drags the gun and you get killed, or waste a GG shot. I find with motion control shooter games that it is best to completely disable it I miss motion controlled shooter games (stuff it will go on PS3 later)

Edited by Afawafa: 4/28/2015 10:46:07 PM90% of players likely wouldn't be able to play without aim assist unless they've done so before in another game. Aim assist occasionally sticks your reticule on unintentional targets, but the sensitivity reduction while tracking targets and increased hitbox size is extremely helpful.

I think it should be removed. I played Killzone Shadow Fall which has no aim assist and did fine.

It's gotten me killed more times than I can count.
