Hello and welcome guardians! This is your friendly neighboorhood AnonPig and after some research into the leaks i think I've discovered somehting interesting about the House of Wolves. That being said, the House of Wolves/Devils/Exile/Winter/Kings/Judgement ain't got nothin on the House of Pigs! Come enlist today!
Ok so let's go back as far as we absolutely can, the Queen of the Reef kills the Wolf Kell and takes the Wolves as her own. This is confirmed. She did not pretend to kill the Kell and only lose control of him, she killed the Kell. Shortly after this event she was also informed of the Nine's displeasure of finding her brothers Crows in the Caldrons of Rhea, to apease them she intended to send Skolas. I know what you're thinking, Skolas is the Kell, he wasn't killed. No he is a captain who aspired to become Kell after the original Kell died, furthermore he wished to unite all of the Fallen Houses under his rule. Pretty ambitious for just a Captain wouldn't you think? Not an Archon, not even a Baron, but a Captain.
Now you can't confuse real world time for in-game time, so let's go back to what i think was a near equal set of events. There was a flash, and you were awoken from the dead! Huzzah the legend was born! Now, however much time (in-game) passes between your intital tower debut and actually going on your first mission i can't say, but imagine the first mission to be the beginning of the struggle with the House of Wolves. Our first mission, incase you forgot, was us killing the Archon Priest of the Devils: Riksis. Now as we should all know, 2+2=5, but this isn't Statistics so let's stick to Destiny lore; there are three main figure heads of the Fallen society, I myself am a Kell, then there are the Archon and Prime Servitor. Without even one of these figures the Fallen House can begin to collapse in upon itself so it is highly important to replace the lost member, which is shown clearly on patrol because we see Kharris, Archon Rising....butttt we killed him too. The Devils Kell must be panicing right about now, lost his Archon, his replacement Archon, nothing could be worse! And then being the ever annoying thorn in his side, let's call him Francois, we go right on ahead and kill his Prime Servitor.
But what of Francois's history? What has he done? Invented peanutbutter? nah, not him. Oh thats right! He lead the revolution of the Fallen against the Humans in the Battle of Twilight Gap. All Fallen Houses united under his reign attacking the Tower. Wait a second. That sounds familiar doesn't it? All Fallen Houses? United under one reign? That's the same agenda that Skolas has!
So not to get directly to my point. The Fallen House of Wolves lost their Kell to the hands of the Queen, their Prime Serivitor fled, of their Archon Priest we know not. It goes back and forth saying that Aksor was the Wolves Archon, but there's evidence for both fights. The Fallen House of Devils lost their Prime, and their Archon, and it would seem an Archon is a much easier thing to replace. It's simply another Fallen Captain bumped up in rank is it not? But the Prime Servitor is what isn't easy.
I think Kaliks, the Wolf Prime Servitor in some way contacted Francois and from there convinced Skolas to lead a rebelion against the Queen. Franscois pouring his agenda in to the foolish Captains mind only to replace his army with the Wolves. Now i know what you're wondering "where is this theory coming from? It's got good points but is there more?" and yes, there is. As a Hunter I was so eager to learn the names of the armour I'd be wearing was ________ of the Kell. I searched and searched trying to see what I would become, thankfully theres ascending now, but what i found was that the Banner of the Kell bears a Devils mark, not a Wolf. And the shotgun, Lord of Wolves, also bears that mark and it's own exotic perk is even called "Devils Touch"
TL;DR
The House of Devils Kell is behind the House of Wolves revolution.

I've been reading your posts and they're all great, I really liked this one and the Ahamkara one (and am glad to find someone else who knows about Aztec history 😂) I'm amazed that u skipped over Skolas's release though. U went straight from the Queen handing him over to him trying to be Kell of Kells, although u did go over some good and little-known facts about Skolas. I actually have a post about Xûr and the Nine that goes over Skolas's release and I would love to hear about your theories over Xûr and the Nine since you've already covered Ahamkara and the Wolves There's not a lot of knowledge of the Nine out there and u clearly know your lore, so u seemed like a great person to message And again I love reading all your posts

Well, I don't think it would that easy to find a replacement Archon. It doesn't seem like you'd just have to bump up a Captain a rank, because the archon has to communicate between the Kell and the Prime. I think you were thinking about the Kell, where you could just insert a captain of the Kell fell. To become an Archon I'd assume it'd take a long period of time to be trained.

The storyline is that they DID mind we took their Pikes
-
I thought that the House of Kings were the sneaky, craftiest bunch?
-
I ain't read that shit but here's my theory on HoW story: Listen to some some random voices during a loading screen, kill some aliens cause the random people said so, get sum loot
-
This is cool and all but didn't Saint-14 kill the Devils' kelp?
-
Aksor the archon priest is the house of kings archon. Just look at him and you'll see he is from the house of kings. Tanics ( sorry about the spelling I forgot how to spell tanics) is the closest thing the wolves have to an archon even tho Tanics is from the house of iron or ash.

To be honest, I like your House of Wolves storyline more :D, BUT the so called 'Francois'...... is dead. Saint-14 bashed his helmet into his skull, although some parts might be true, for example, as you have stated, Lord of Wolves has the House of Devils insignia on it and the main perk is called Devils Touch. Bungie works in mysterious ways......

What about variks -the house of judgement must survive-

Hello anonpig. I understand you really enjoy destiny and making these theories but sadly the grimoire and lore do NOT connect with the game, except for the VoG entries
-
My only issue with this is that it is stated that fallen houses war with each other, so why would a broken and lost Prime servitor of the wolves contact the Kell of the Devils, and then give his ideals to Skolas, who don't forget was GIVEN TO THE NINE, how in the hells did he get away from them? This seems kinda flawed based on the text from the story missions and grimoire.

I'm a little late, but this is pretty damn great!

This was very entertaining to read. Great theory. Let's see how it pans out when it launches.

Sweet!

Great theory! Makes sense too. I honestly am most intrigued of Kaliks Prime... He is still out there, what could that bastard of an eyeball be planning? Anyway, love these Anon, keep them coming!
-
This guy's a legend, I tells ya.
-
I'm sure the story will be laid out in all three story mission loading screens.
-
Nice theory
-
good theory.
-
No one told you destiny didn't have a story? So players have to create their own story
-
Go kill taht pew pew whole story line

Edited by Battle Shorts: 4/29/2015 8:02:26 PMI think that Francois is a Richard Cranium and that your "theory" is more solid than the "storyline" that we've already played out.
