Mortal Kombat X has killed Destiny
As if destiny wasnt already dying, mortal kombat x has pretty put the nails on the coffin. Bungie probably having a funeral right now. MKX has way better multiplayer that takes skill. Destiny doesn't even have professional tournaments, mortal kombat had a tournament right when it came out lol. Also MKX actually has a cool story line unlike destiny. Destiny has almost 2 expansions coming out and it still feels like an unfinished game. Also i would say something about the ps4 master race but nether realm studios let the xbots have mkx which is cool, they needed a good game for once since bloodborne came out. Anyone that plays destiny is a scrub and all I have to say now is GG as in Get good nerds.

Destiny and mortal kombat x are two different games. One can not kill off the other because they have different play styles and people have different opinions on both games. I have mortal kombat x and I absolutely love the game, but destiny is still the game I play most.

xD i give it that it has an interessting story for a simple fighting game and that some combo chains require skill... but... better multiplayer? whats better? its just 1 vs 1^^'' pretty standard and not even lagfree. professional tournaments... well, thats actually the only thing that keeps those fighting games alive. imo marvel vs capcom 3 was the best fighting game (excellent music, very cool character roster, nice graphics, endless combos etc.) but it didnt rly survive long enough. without the tournaments people wouldnt even know it existed. imo fighting games dont have enough content to stay alive longer than many other games can. destiny feels unfinished, thats true but mortal kombat x doesnt have much content after you finished the story. the only thing left to do is the towers... 1 vs 1 against npcs or online "multiplayer". when i first played the game and finished the story on the same day i thought this game was awesome. found my favorite character (d'vorah) after a few matches and after getting arround 60k koins and using them to unlock some stuff in the krypta the game already became boring. the only thing left to do was the "living towers" and / or survivor / endles tower to get some koins. i got about 300-400 or even more hours (dont rly know how much, destiny says this, xbox says that...) out of destiny - i highly doubt i get even 100 hours out of mortal kombat x, if i get lucky perhaps 50. but fighting games like that are most fun if you have a friend come by and play a few matches with him / her. other than that, at least for me, i dont see a bright future for mortal kombat x, even though its nice and brutal (hah, never thought i would use those 2 words in the same sentence). [spoiler]and ps4 masterrace? rly? i thought we were over this fanboy crap but seems like fanboys never mature^^''[/spoiler]

Actually, mkx is a step back from the last mk. I played it......nothing special about it that separates it from the last iteration.

3 RepliesOk.. So yea.. My 10 year old son might agree that MKX is better than Destiny, but he is 10 freaking years old and has no clue what he is talking about!!! In no way, is MKX better than Destiny... Kudos to you, OP, for having an absolutely horrid taste in video games!!

I have MKX, it's mindless fun for a little bit, but hardly anywhere near as good as destiny. Waiting for Jason vorhees to be released on May 5.

You're comparing Mortal Kombat, which has been around for decades, to Destiny, which has been out for a little over half a year? Yeah there's going to be major differences. Mortal Kombat has a fanbase old enough to practically be grandparents where as Destiny is still growing. Give it a few years. Destiny will have tournaments and the whole shebang as well.

Lol When king gothalion went to bungie for the stream there was a tv in the middle with the stats for destiny. The lowest amount of players that it ever hit was 300k. Ya. Totally dead....
