Don't get touchy with me because you didn't think about what you were saying, bud.
They named it Earth's moon because that's what it is. Same reason they named Venus 'Venus'.
To insinuate that it was named Earth's moon "for the dumb people because they plain don't damn understand durrr" is in bad taste.
