The ultimate Borderlands strategy
What is your ultimate strategy for any Borderlands game? This thread is to share strategies so that other players can get new ideas if they're struggling with a boss fight or a hard part of a game. Don't forget to say what game it's for.
I have a strategy for Borderlands 2 with my friend where we both play as assassins and when the other goes down, we just use decepti0n and revive them. We call it a ninja revive.

Solo Krieg. Anything that boosts Buzzaxe Rampage effectiveness. Blow shit up and basically 1-hit melee almost anything.

If you decide to tackle Hyperius as a Commando get the turret shield. This will protect you from his laser and emp novas as long as you stand in the bubble.

1 ReplyIn the pre sequel, using Aurelia can be hella fun. I main her middle tree. So when I encounter a mob of enemies, I launch her special, and from a fair distance, pick off whoever the ice shard lands on first. Rinse and repeat. Before long, they're all dead and I'll be running through the carnage looting the area where they once stood.

I had a friend who got me some white deaths/lyudas paired with a Vladof relic every five levels. It's recoil less and so much fun on a sniper zer0

Phase lock the shit out of everything. Max out cataclysm tree to stack those DoTs on everything. Use proper element smg to stack even more on enemies with said weaknesses.

7 RepliesKrieg!!!!...?...!. I do the middle tree as well as the right tree. He has a perk where 25% of an enemies elemental damage dealt by him(might just be fire) is used to heal him, so if you have a decent fire weapon, you can just spam that, then finish them with melee, and I'm pretty sure he has another perk where killing an enemy with melee heals him a little bit(no I don't mean his special where he only uses buzzsaw, I know that heals him all the way). Also, there was this shield/mod that increased melee damage when his shield was depleted. Combined with a melee damage bonus weapon, that's good stuff. Pardon me if some of this is incorrect. It's been a while since I've played and I just got excited about it and wanted to share :3
