I actually think Thorn and Felwinter's Lie are more of a hindrance than anything, especially when you try to force that play style. I recently switched from Thorn to Mida or Suro Regime depending on the situation and have been doing much better. It's not even a comparison. Thorn may hit harder, but Mida is so much smoother.
