As someone who has been in every time zone shell back I can assure you that we are the best place on earth.
A poverty line American has a higher quality of life and income than 90% of Earth.

And you are quite obviously clueless. You know absolutely nothing of my life, and even less of the lives of those outside the US. Worldwide standard of living in this country falls behind not only The Netherlands, but also Norway and Australia. Ranking individual freedom, the US is outside the top 20. But please, continue to wrap yourself up so tightly in that flag that you can't see reality beyond these shores.
