I don't think it's harder to use, unless you're used to taking hits. The simplicity in hunters is being fast and not being able to be hit. It's not like with a titan, for example, who can easily brush off bullets. I wouldn't call one approach harder, but I do prefer to be faster than tougher. I find playing Titan tedious. No comment on warlock. So far playing as him has been slower than hunter and weaker than titans, but that's more of a matter of undeveloped stats, not class.
