I couldn't agree more, however it annoy's me how the UK never gets credit for the roughly 3 years it held the western front by it's self, while may I add supplying Russia with tanks and other military supplies. But, yes it could not have been won without Russia.

As a US citizen and former serviceman I have nothing but respect for England's deeds during WWII. Winston Churchill remains one of the greatest leaders of all time. His speech "Never has so few done so much for so many" has to be the greatest orations of the modern age.

I know some people do manage to respect the amount the UK did, and likewise I have nothing but respect for the US & USSR war dead. This was aimed at those who act like the UK did absolutely nothing. But thank you I guess.

Oh yes,I know how much we did on our own and yeah we helped the Russians with Matilda and Churchill tanks etc and I completely agree that many forget how long we held out, trying to keep Europe free.
