I also received the email earlier today. They're basically pieces of a larger image that the community has been gathering together. My images had already been compiled.

It shows Locke's team and Blue team??? Does that mean blue team went AWOL with chief???

The last time we saw 'Chief was in the comic series, Halo Escalation - I think it was the story arc '24 hours'. He left to go 'where else he's needed' - paraphrasing - accompanied by his trusted Blue Team. I'm guessing wherever they went has lead them to the situation they have found themselves in now.
