If it's a free country, then can't I be entitled to say what I want?
If it's a free country, then can't I be entitled to say what I want?
OMFG YES SO TRUE GOD DAMN WHAT CAN HE SAY TO THIS hahaa
-
Freedom of speech, what do you hate about that? I hate liver therefor I do not eat it. I hate malls therefor I don't go.to malls If you hate it leave nobody will stop you.
-
Who said I hate freedom of speech?
-
You are clearly an idiot if you think either of us has said anything poorly bout freedom of speech. In fact, we were both exercising it and praising it. You were the one who said that because of our opinions we should leave, infringing on OUR right to freedom of speech.
-
I do believe you said you hate the government. Freedom of speech is guareented by the very same goverment that you professed your hatred.
-
Its a paradox you biggot. You are clearly ignorant and seriously undereducated. You arent even worth the time it took for me to write this but you should open your eyes. We live on a planet. The planet is one and every human is equal. Its people like you who define lines and defend imaginary boarders. Its divide and conquer. You are a part of a bigger game than you could ever comprehend yet your ego wont allow you to accept this. Cite your educational background and tell me why the usa bombs innocent children. I have an educational background in sociology, psychology and biology before you try responding with your usual spill that you have been
-
Liberal Democrat?
-
Education: United States Navy and I never bombed anybody.
-
Nice fairytale. When in history have things been equal. You can change politicians and you can change governments bit what will always be the same is people. You can hope the people stop trying to exert power over other people and you can hope that something magical happens and everybody starts loving each other but it will never happen.
-
You education should have taught you that this is a fundamental human problem not an American problem.
-
Why insult me my elightened friend. Because I don't agree? Seems a little contrary don't you think?
-
You can hate the government but still practice the laws and rights given by it. The part most people hate is the party system. Leadership is always one side or the other when the best would be parts of each with heavy usage of common sense. Quit trying to make laws that bolster your off shore bank accounts and cause you to not pay any taxes therefore not fixing anything in the country that needs to be fixed.

No. Freedom of Speech is an inalienable right given to me by God, not the government. Go take a basic U.S. history class at your local community college and get back to me.
-
Freedom.of speech is not condoned in the bible in fact it carries some fairly severe penalties.
-
I do believe you said you hate the government. Freedom of speech is guareented by the very same goverment that you professed your hatred.

No. Freedom of Speech is an inalienable right given to me by God, not the government. -
I did not state the above comment, my "opponent" did. I stated that it is not guaranteed to me by man, but by my right as a human. It is my responsibility to preserve that right as It is those without the ability to freely speak to take back what is theirs. If the United States government attempted to remove any freedom granted to me as a human being (life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness) they would have to remove it from my dead hands.
-
Libertarian?
-
My point, my ONLY point, AGAIN, is that freedom of speech is not guaranteed everywhere, and OBVIOUSLY you didn't say the first comment, I put that there for reference....
If the United States government attempted to remove any freedom granted to me as a human being (life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness) they would have to remove it from my dead hands.
That would be a task of no great feat, Also, that is the basis of what the U.S. Is founded upon, soooo fat chance (I know this was meant to be figurative but still)
you're really good at circumventing
-
Regardless, it is not the duty of government to bestow upon its citizens basic human freedoms. It is the people's responsibility to preserve their freedom. This is the point I made. You are entitled to your opinion, as am I. You are right in saying freedom is not guaranteed. But it is your job to ensure that freedom if need be.
-
Move to North Korea or the Middle East and try freedom of speech lol
-
You clearly don't recognize the fact I was quoting a piece of American history.
-
I do, and that's what freedom of speech SHOULD BE, but isn't under all governments
*yawn*
-
Edited by Roronoa Zoro (Timelost): 4/26/2015 7:45:32 PMThen they're being persecuted against by their government, not denied by their government. Grow up. Because they don't have it doesn't mean their government hasn't given it to them, it means their government has taken it from them and it's their duty to take it back as they did in the American Revolution.
-
Uhh Bruh, you're missing the point... Using your own words in regards to freedom of speech "Government has taken it away" "government persecutes them".... Does OURS do this????? How does this counter my point? freedom of speech is not a given under some of governments
and the American Revolution has absolutely nothing to do with discrediting our own government, as it was a revolt against the British not ourselves

grow up???
-
Wasn't that due taxes? Didn't the founding fathers own slaves? Save the revolution was for freedom shit for people that cannot read.
