Players like these 2 should be banned from PvP. They were playing together the entire match. You see them killing eachother with void weapons everytime, guess they are doing the Thorn bounty.
And yes, I know I suck at PvP, but every once in a while I want to give it a go, only to be discouraged immediately again by Boosters and laggers.

Could just make rumble solo fireteam only.
-
Yeah they really gonna ban all these boosting idiots. If they did the thorn percentage would drop so hard Your newb if you use a thorn and newb cus you obv boosted to get it
-
Me vs party of 3 in rumble They picked the wrong lobby to pull this shit in
-
Edited by Jake cant shoot: 6/11/2015 2:59:48 AMWhy they allow parties in rumble is beyond me.. Cheap ass way of doing private matches
-
Don't play rumble is the moral of this story
-
I've noticed a lot of teammates in Rumble these days.
-
This ain't MW2 babyyyyyy

Edited by Gouda-Remsay: 6/11/2015 1:39:15 AMWhy bother?! Just play the game or GTFO. I'll admit the thorn bounty was a pain, especially the void part, but after a while I managed to get a groove going and finish it. Not hard once you get the kinks out.

There is a certain evil genius behind requiring people to go into PVP for exotic bounties. I initially hated PVP and initially hated every second of the Thorn bounty. I nearly discarded the damn thing. The more I played though, the better I got and once I had a system working with an appropriate build (Defender Titan with Armamentarium and 2 stickies + void rare shottie), I saw the light. Now I love PVP. I spend an inordinate amount of time in it and it's been a lot of fun. Maybe most people will not react the same way, but for the small percentage that do, this is a winning move by Bungie to keep people playing their game. People who boost for the bounty are robbing themselves of the chance to grow to love the Crucible and that's a shame, because you really can have a lot of fun in it.
-
Anyone that does this is a flaming piece of shit. No ones forcing anyone to do bounties just delete them. Your a -blam!-ing scrub and you don't deserve the gun you -blam!-ing scumbags!
-
I think anyone boosting for any reason should get a permanent ban. That goes for lag switchers too.

Maybe Bungie could solve this by taking out the pvp element of the exotic bounties. A lot of people don't like pvp or don't think they are very good at it, so resort to things like this.
-
Bungie wouldn't have allowed fireteams in rumble if they didn't want to see this stuff happening. I agree that it's not sporting but boosting is hardly cheating. If anything spawn trapping is by definition more of a cheat if you consider game mechanic exploitation for easy kills grounds for cheating. Most of the arguments here are about wanting people to suffer anyway, which is messed up
-
Most of these comments stink of elitism. Just understand that there are people out there that are not as good at Crucible as you, does that mean they don't deserve to have the weapon to play in PVE? I got my Thorn legit, but I will help out any of my clan members in whatever they need to do something they can't. Also if the alternative of this is to give your account details to someone you can trust to do this for you. Do you guys have a problem with that also?

Edited by Eggo Folgers: 4/28/2015 12:00:28 AMRecruiting now: who wants to form a boost clan? The entire forums is full of nothing but rants about "nerfing this weapon" and "buffing that weapon". I say what's wrong with boosting? The whiners don't get killed as much, therefore giving them a better chance at getting kills, all while we stack up our kills on ourselves and avoid being unfair to people who hate to die in competitive multiplayer. It's a win win, no? Edit: So I'm actually starting to get private messages asking me to boost lmao is this what people mean when they sarcasm is too advanced? I would NEVER sit down and boost in this sorry excuse for a multiplayer, what the hell is there to gain from boosting besides xp (and not even a lot of it at that)?
-
I give them a pat on the back. Anyone willing to help their friends any way possible is a good dude in my book. Lmao banned? Perhaps if someone was somehow boosting in something like Trials and coming in 1st place every game. Even when boosting you aren't likely to come in 1st place. Lastly, if you're able to bring your fireteam into rumble, then it's obviously allowed. Rather than complain, you should expect it/camp the person who is being boosted by his teammates. Lag switchers should be banned for sure tho. When your enemies are getting revived (skirmish) by the one player running into the wall the whole game who is also killing you whilst invisible/invincible. Ive only encountered a handful of them, but I can say for sure that when you fight against a lag switcher you'll know. You'll know...

This could be solved with a private lobby
-
I absolutely suck at pvp, but I completed the Thorn bounty legitimately... twice.
-
Edited by haphazardlynamed: 4/28/2015 7:48:10 AMRan into a pair today for a few games They kept running to the same corner of the map so one could let the other kill him Once I figured out what they were doing it was fun beating them to their meetup spot and waiting for the free double kills
-
I see it in rumble a bunch and when I do I get into the zone. I go to the outskirts where I know they'll be and go ham. They rarely stay for a second match.
-
Leave the match when they do this if youre gonna be a baby about it. Let them play any way they want to
-
Wont happen for it has been done by thousands of players for that bounty. And bungie is not going to ever ban everyone that did it.
-
Easy fix is to only let 1 player instead of a fire team into rumble. I figured that's the way it worked but I guess I'm wrong.
-
Edited by TraiN-RexX: 4/27/2015 2:19:01 PMSince you are likely referring to Rumble, where they let you enter with a 3 person party, let me point out something. This is usually done by players who are not good at pvp. Boosting like this is good for other pvp game type players because the boosters aren't wrecking some team's chances in Clash or Control with their bad pvp play. This is good for the other guys in the rumble match, because they should stand a better chance of getting a win with 3 bad pvp players. In fact, Bungie should set up a special game type just for this so I can finally win some rumble games for my grimoire score! (once I finish my Thorn bounty so I can use it there on them)

boosters deserve perma bans
