It's Uber effective against Bosses with high targetable weak points. Cleric Beast, The One Reborn, Daughter of the Cosmos and whenever the Boils spawn high up on thr Undead Giant's back.

Yep I did the same. It's so versatile and you can continuously stagger enemies really easy. Definitely my favorite.
