Ah yes. But warlock also found a lot of information about the darkness. Toland. Osiris. They even sacrificed there dignity in the tower and their right to the city to find a way to stop the darkness. Hunters refuse to stop trying, that's why they are valued. Warlocks also don't want to stop, but still see when to fall back and replan. Hunters never give up even if it means death. This compliments each other, tactics and knowledge of warlocks, and raw determination of hunters combine into an unstoppable force. Now just cuz warlocks are smart doesn't mean they can't -Blam!- stuff up. They can rise from the dead, and send nukes at their enemies. When hunters can sneak past enemy lines and get the upper hand, or pick off he front line and slowly make their way in. It's all one big happy family. Plz not I'm a warlock.
