There is a sign for a shop, set out like this:
Boots and Shoes
As a lover of symmetry, such a sign infuriates you. You enter the shop and demand to see the manger. You are yelling at the manager about how disgracefully asymmetrical the sign is, and you demand he change it. He replies with,
"But sir, the sign has no real problem. I see no point in replacing it."
You reply with,
"The space between Boots and and, and and and shoes is completely asymmetrical."
