Who ever said anything about self res? Titans are gods nowhere, but the are good for everything and bad for nothing. They are generally better than warlocks at PvP, but worse in PvE, while they are better at Hunters in PvE, but worse in PvP.

Because the warlock can only self res and chuck solar grenades for a certain amount of time. Also warlocks need a guaranteed kill to generate orbs unless you die and can generate 2 same as the titan when you trow up the bubble but if you have the perk were you just let the enemy shoot the bubble you can generate 5 orbs in total with out killing an enemy. Just doing that you can keep a super chain going. In a way titan are best fit for pve. That just my opinion

With Obsidian mind you can generate orbs and fill up your entire super bar, that way you can keep yours and the rest of your team's supers up all the time.
