You started January 12th and have a lvl26 and a lvl2. I can understand why you feel the way you and its probably because you are playing the game all wrong. Lvls 0-20 Use bounties for both vanguard and crucible to lvl up fast. Then complete story missions. This should only take 2-3 days of moderate game play. After lvl 20 Ignore crucible, and focus on vanguard strike playlists. Start at lowest one and work your way up to ROC at lvl 26. This is where you get your gear, marks, and rep. Use bounties to upgrade gear. Get to lvl 28 and play Crotas End on normal, Nightfall, weekly heroics. All once a week events and not much time involved for decent RNG chances. Lvl30+ CE hard mode. Two to three completion and youll be a respectable lvl 32. Just raid both vog and CE and nightfall after that. Used this method and had 3 32s in less than 6 weeks from the time I purchased the game on January 6. Im only 2 exotics short of the whole set.
