So here is an idea that I created for an exotic handcannon. Feel free to give me any feedback on the weapon whatsoever.
Name: Truth or Dare
Description: "Either way, you lose."
Special perks: Akimbo: This weapon is dual wielded, Solar and Arc: This weapon does both solar and arc damage. (Truth, which is held in the left hand, does solar. Dare, which is held in the right hand, does arc)
Upgrades: Hip-fire accuracy buffs, random skills
Exotic upgrade: Truth or Dare: Upon spawning/reloading, the weapon rolls either truth or dare. If it roles truth, then Truth will have a doubled magazine size. If it rolls dare, then Dare will have increased impact. Also gives increased accuracy and stability.
Additional Notes: This weapon should be a low-rof, high-impact due to the low accuracy and greater chance of missing. Because there are two of them, it would also how a slow reload, which would somewhat act as the major drawback of the weapon.
Here's the same idea presented differently:
Name: Truth or Dare
Description: "Either way, you lose"
Special perks: This weapon has the ability to do either solar and arc damage (Truth gives solar, Dare gives arc)
Upgrades: Outlaw, Luck in the chamber, random skills
Exotic ability: Truth or Dare: Upon spawning/reloading, the weapon will roll either truth or dare. If it rolls Truth, the weapon deals solar damage and has an increased magazine size. If it rolls Dare, the weapon will deal arc damage and will have increased damage-per-shot.
Additional Notes: Since this isn't a dual-wielded weapon, it should have fairly average stats all around. Also, the weapon would have a piece of it the changes color to indicate whether or not it is Truth or Dare. A good drawback would be a low magazine size, around 6 or 7.
Please give me your feedback on this weapon. Do you think it would be OP/UP? Which version did you like better?

What about truth helps heal you, dare deals .5 more damage

Maybe instead it rolls that truth or dare on reload, but reloads faster on an empty clip to discourage frequent reload for the effects the user wants?

I think this is a great idea. If there is a way to incorporate void damage into this, that would be amazing. Or have something like Murmur that you can switch to on command. It could be called the good, the bad, and the deadly

Also you would have to hip fire 2 weapons as you can't aim both due to the laws of biology and probably other science stuff ;) You could have it interchangeable like Murmur
