Perfect balance and it's hidden "-20 range" stat.
ok so perfect balance's stats is "+35 stability and -20 range"
however, when you just read the description of it, it says, "this weapon has extremely low recoil" (notice it says nothing about the negative range)
so my question is...
The Last Word has range of 14...so how does perfect balance affect that...?
and has anyone ever even noticed or tested the difference in range with perfect balance equipped on the last word?
or ANY guns for that matter?
the "-20 range" doesnt show up statistically on the gun...
and on any topics to do with TLW no one seems to be mentioning the negative affects on range of the perfect balance, but only talks about its positive stability.
Does anyone have good knowledge on the "-20 range" part of the perfect balance??

1 ReplyPerhaps with the range, that it is a multiplier ( x 0.8 ) adjustment, instead of an integer adjustment, its not as if you can have "negative 6" effective range on a weapon.

actually i've noticed ever since the range nerf on handcannons( nerf on all except hawkmoon and thorn) that while using perfect balance some shots that were direct hits just don't register.

Never really noticed it but that's coming from someone who charges people with TLW and holds down right and forgets about left trigger

TLW has an extremely comfortable range, so you almost never feel it.
