Can't get past level 26
I'm having trouble getting past lvl 26. I've done plenty of strikes and few Eris bounties and a lot of regular bounties. I have rank 1 Vanguard and FWC. Do I just need to get them to level 2 and 3 to really do anything?

Vanguard ROC strikes will pretty much level you up until you can drop Crota.

Pretty much. Crucible can jump you 2 more levels from armor drops but from around 28 is when you should start VoG.

Buy exotic armor from xur. Reach lvl 27 and have someone carry you thru crota normal to get 30 light gear.

It's time to grind!

Raids do vog and get level 30 armour then go on crota for the level 32 armour. Try buy and exotic piece for your character aswell from xur.

Do the vault of glass. Plenty of people will help u out its just finding the right team for it

Play and grind crucible, get faction armor and grind that to get to 31. Then hit the dark below and grind that. Then watch me as i grind your mo.. guardian has disconnected.

When you rank up your vanguard to rank two or three you can buy the armor if not start doing normal vaults until you reach level 28 then do Crota

Do vanguard bounty and crucible to get the gear.

Why are you not rank 3 vanguard ? That's why your stuck at 26

Grind vanguard for the gear, gets you to 31 when maxed

3 RepliesReal simple, go with vanguard, why, they take vanguard marks, you earn those doing strikes, daily's and such forth, lot faster to earn than crucible marks, at lvl 2, you can buy armor, that armor will have 33 light, 4 pieces of that and you're lvl 31, also, save some coins, do the weekly heroic strikes, enough coins and you can buy an exotic armor piece, and bam, that's 36 light. get one or two more levels and then find a raid group to get you through crota on normal. Heck if you're on xbox one, I'd be willing to do the lamps for you, you'd have about a 50% chance of getting a piece of raid gear, thats 36 light right there and free, it'd take me a minute or two.

Just get the Vanguard Gear which is obtained by hitting lvl 3 with the Vanguard then just doing Crota's End.
