The Big Community Voting Wish List: Supplemental to Bungie WL

(Thread created post-1.1.2) Seeing as Bungie has a Community Wish List that represents our supposed desires for the Destiny world (and the fact that they could use a slightly more extensive post to look to for reference), I thought we could use a more concrete and participatory community wish list for things we wish to see that affect gameplay, efficiency and aesthetics. Some of these wishes do NOT mean Bungie has or has not addressed or attempted fixing/upgrading/implementing them, as long as there is still room for improvement to you, then let your keyboard fly. If you see something in this post you would like to elaborate/convene upon, do tag this thread in a new post, and the post itself in the comments below, to give everyone an easy pathway to this and outside, more elaborative threads. I will monitor this post essentially 24/7 to update it, but I will post a few of my own ideas, and will modify/add or delete them as you give me feedback through your own thoughts and opinions.   • I would love to see transmog that way I can look different than everyone else and also the raid glitches to be fixed after the last update all they fixed is the sword I'm seeing more glitches from crota now then before.

    • Faster inventory loading screen. suck when you trying to pop a ammo synthesis and you gotta wait sometimes a whole minute just to see you got 30 seconds left

        • Crucible game modes that take advantage of raid mechanics. An example would be capture the relic. Whichever team has possession of the relic, oracles spawn that try to kill them. They have to survive the same way they would in the vault of glass with the twist of having Guadians trying to kill them. The relic holder would have the same damage as normal but it would be mainly his job to survive and take out oracles. He would get a special sight that let's him see where they are because they'll be spawning in random places around the map. Think of an extreme version of oddball, destiny style.

          • Different leveled patrols with the highest level having much more intense missions and having a good chance to spawn roaming bosses.

              20 (item upgrading) When we find out more details about the new upgrade system next week, you will be able to effectively delete 24 (transmog) as there will finally be many more legendary choices.

                • Raid bounties. Like kill the Templar without dying, or collect xx materials from hobgoblins, or melee kill a minotaur. Adapt and adjust similar ideas for CE

                • New end game consumables to strive for. Reroll tokens: you give to the gunsmith these tokens and they reforge one weapon. Legendary Gem: it can upgrade 1 slot for free on any weapon or armor piece. Exotic Gem: this will fully upgrade 1 item. Consumable Armor Effects: these items would be like the jack o lite where it's usage grants some kind of effect on your character. I feel like a lot of fun can be had with this.

                  • Put guns on sparrows, at least in patrol mode. Maybe a bounty or two for sparrow kills. 100 sparrow kills. 25 sparrow headshot kills. Something like that.

                  • Faction quests. I imagine I would be during strikes or they would go along side the nightfalls. If it's on earth, you'd gather golden age relics for new monarchy, on the moon you'd gather dead ghosts of members of dead orbit, I'm not sure what do for future war cult. What I would prefer is to get some story out of these factions. I would love unique missions for them.

                  • Higher tier difficulty VoG (L32) as well as rotating weekly 'nightfall raid' that has one random modifier.

                          1-8, +1 10-24, +1 9, -1 I vehemently oppose 9 because I believe that it has and will reduce the variety in the Crucible, and will end up leading to a Crucible that is only a run/gun pulse rifle fest.

                              Things I think would be awesome: 1. Race track/stunt track/half pipe for sparrows. I mean seriously, give us something to really cut loose with these things. Either just freeplay or structured, I don't care. 2. Tiered bounties - Ie. "Kill XYZ on ABC mission with Heroic Modifier" - Let's be serious, if I can set it to Lvl 17 or Lvl 30 and get the same credit, I'm setting it to lvl 17. If I could get say... an extra 2500 experience by doing it on lvl 30, I'm going to. 3. Weapon/Armor Transmog - Take 3-5 legendaries and transmog for an exotic? Or 3-5 rares and transmog into a legendary. Of course it would need a fail rate. Maybe 35%? Edit: On second thought, I think fail rate should be closer to 65-75%. You should really be risking your hard earned gear if you're getting a chance to upgrade for stuff that's collected fairly easily. Either that or keep the fail rate around 1/3 and require more gear. 4. Armor Set bonus - Pretty straight forward. When wearing all armor from a set, you get an additional bonus. Apply to all armor sets. Vanguard, Raid, Faction, IB, etc etc 5. A slot machine for strange coins(I have so many at this point I'll never run out just by spending them with Xur - Am I right?). Full casino would be better, but I'm not greedy. But c'mon, who doesn't want to sit down with a couple hundred strange coins at the blackjack table, ya feel me? 6. Trade system. I know.. I know... it would get abused. That's why you assign everything in the game a point value. Trades can't be completed unless point values from each side match, with a +/- factor of X(Lets face it, exact match could get tricky). The guy with 9 gjally's could get a haul of materials, glimmer, legendaries, etc. This would also keep people from gifting stuff to their noob friends which is something I'm glad isn't currently possible. 7. Let us use our double jump/lift/etc in the tower. I mean really? 8. "Registration Table" in the tower. Go to the table, set your game parameters - Ie. Crota - Normal Mode - Fresh. Requirement - 28+, etc etc. People go to the registration table, check out the list of available fire teams and are only allowed to request an invite or join if they meet requirements. As for ideas listed above.... 1. +1 2. +1 7. +1 14. +1 19. +1
