You kidding me? Whiners like you ruin PvP... and PvE, and the game, and everything. Someone who gets carried through a strike and then randomly gets an exotic is the same thing as getting carried for those coins. Your argument is invalid.

The fact that they were in the strike means that they earned it. They were active and they got rewarded

So by that logic they earned the strange coins used to buy from Xur, which means they earned what they use those coins for. You're contradicting yourself. Stop whining. You can also get carried though nightfalls and raids and get fantastic drops. You can't earn something from a random number generator.
