The Last Word or Inmost light
So as of right now I only have enough coins for one. I'm a titan and I don't really run hand cannons too often, when I do I already have a maxed out red hand. But I want to stay competitive in the crucible. Should I get the last word (replacing red hand) or helm of inmost light (replacing skullfort)? Thank you in advance for your advice.

Nobody asked but I went ahead and bought The Last Word on my lunch break and an engram (turned out to be the void fang thing for warlock) and ran around earth patrol with it for a couple minutes. All I can really sat about it as of right now is WOW! I can see why this is popular in pvp. 8 super fast shots and just about anything will go down.

Get TLW. TLW and Thorn are the best two PvP primaries, full stop. There's a reason why nobody in high level, competitive PvP uses any primary but Thorn or TLW. They're the best. Buy TLW.

TLW is among the most unbalanced weapons in Destiny, with the caveat that its got a fairly steep learning curve. I would spring for it if you want to stay competitive

3 RepliesTake the Helm. Im defo buying it. The fact it gives you Death from Above & Headstrong means you can choose different perks on those two lines. Aftermath & Aftershock will be my pick, pretty obvious choice why

Get the Helmet. The stat roll is amazing and that exotic makes the Titan's super so much more powerful by freeing up two perk slot choices in your subclass tree. The Last Word always drops with the same stats, but Xur will not always have a 125 STR exotic lying around. Take advantage of the high stat roll this week!

Edited by Fridén: 4/17/2015 4:04:49 PMBoth are PVP oriented. What other exotic gear do you have for your titan? If you have armantarium or an insurmountable skull front, I would get TLW. Both of those are good in PVP as well. TLW is the best 1 on 1 primary PVP weapon in the game. I think it has the fastest TTK.

Dependent on how you like to troll with a Titan: either with your super, in which case get inmost light, or with a deadly hip fire monster of a hand cannon. Better yet, why not both if you've got coins to spare

It won't change fist of havoc from being primarily a panic super to get a couple kills at a control point or end someone else's more powerful super. It's not worth using. Armamentarium is better anyways. Tlw is an absolute monster. Up close it hits like a shotgun, and far away it hits like thorn with a faster fire rate. And I feel less cheap using it than thorn because I'm not relying on burn damage. I don't want post mortem medals, I want to get the kill and stay alive. Tlw is perfect.
