And honestly dude the gun doesn't make the person it's the other way around.
As much as i want to beleive that, try and beat someone with TLW while using Atheon's Epilouge.. Go on, i'll wait. Seriously i'm sure you'll win one time. I mean, if you have blessing and weapons of light... And the TLW user has half health... And is afk. I'm sure it's all about the player.
i can't stop chuckling thinking about this XD
Edited by Mr Biscuits1999: 4/17/2015 12:59:10 PMEvery player has weapons better suited for that persons style of play and character settings. My preference vex mythoclast. I'll be honest I'm shitty with assault rifles especially ones with high rates of fire like that epilogue. So sure give me the gun I suck with the most and put me up against a last word someone uses on a regular basis I'll obviously lose, you must go to Harvard or something putting that together huh? But give me my mythoclast and opportunities to get the jump on that person, tactical use of cover, the use of grenades lol besides you see people goin ham with RARE weapons or no land beyond dude idk why you use epilogue get an exotic primary like thorn, step that game up dude like I said the person makes the gun not the other way around.
idk why you use epilogue get an exotic primary like thorn, step that game up dude like I said the person makes the gun not the other way around.
i don't use atheon's epilouge in crucible. I provided that weapon as an example to show that some weapons clearly over power others. A statement you basically admited to when you said to "get Thorn" (which i've already had for months). By saying i should use thorn, you basically admit that some weapons clearly out perform others and give players an edge. Sure a skilled player is required to take the kill, but better gear can clearly substitute for skill. I'm sure it is not a councidence that i perform much better when using Thorn than i do when using Hard Light (my favorite auto).

My point if you read carefully had nothing to do with the fact that obviously some weapons are more effective than others but that a skilled guardian determines if he kills an opponent not just with his weapon but with his strategy, alternate abilities, and tactics on the battlefield. Just because you have the last word that does not automatically turn you into a good player. However a good player can wreck shit with it. The gun didn't choose which player was better now did it?
