I hate XUR. He ruins PVP
I'm not looking forward to the iron banner. Hell I might even go back to playing titanfall fort a while until people get tired of using the last word.
I think the exotic weapons you get from Xur should have one less perk, compared to the people that "earned" them.
Don't come at me with "Oh, but I did earn it! I worked hard for the strange coins." My response to that is. ..no..no you didn't. You could have easily been CARRIED through the weekly heroic strikes. You could have had a Bunch saved up from decoding engrams, doing public events. .etc.
The people that EARNED their exotics should have the better of the two. We grinded week after week in hopes of obtaining that of which we seek. We did our nightfalls, we did six runs of crota each week, we got the gorgon chest on our characters, We played countless Vanguard ROC strikes and we played countless amounts of PVP matches and when we FINALLY get it, We feel great...people who "xurn" stuff can't say they earned it. It fell into their lap.

By your definition, I also "earned" my last word. But it's moronic to say that these people should have a lesser weapon just because you got lucky. I got lucky. Xur is just as much as an earn as luck.

1 ReplyYet another fool that believes that getting strange coins from the weekly heroic isn't earning despite deej having made a post about it not once but twice. It's a little sad to see people still trying to make themselves feel like a special snowflake. Exotics weren't meant to be hard to get, they weren't meant to be unique. How either of those ideas got into people's heads is beyond me.

Your logic is clearly flawed. Don't get me wrong, I've had the last word since October, but what about the people who were carried through those roc strikes and crucible matches to just luckily have it drop? Did they earn it? No, they received it based on chance. Please revise your logic before posting. Everyone spent $60+ on this game. Let 'em play the way they want. Have fun on titanfall. Thanks.

True, you could have gotten carried through your weeklies. You could also have gotten carried through the raids and nightfalls when you got your exotics. So, sorry, but that argument doesn't hold up at all.

Bungie ruined PVP. It use to be fun. When someone would run around with a shotgun the entire game you could keep them at bay with a fusion rifle but now fusion rifles are watered down garbage for the most part. You could use an AR in the past and hold your own but now ARs are watered down garbage. Basically if you run TLW, Thorn, or Red Death & a shotgun you have the best guns in PVP & can crap on kids. Iron Banner was AIDS last time around and I only imagine it will be worse next week. Oh well, Halo MCC has been running pretty good and it's balanced unlike crucible. Destiny PVP was so much fun before but they've ruined it.

At this point everything is easy raids, nightfalls, roc's, even getting packages from any faction. For me earned guns and xurned guns have no difference at all. I couldn't care any less
