I hate XUR. He ruins PVP
I'm not looking forward to the iron banner. Hell I might even go back to playing titanfall fort a while until people get tired of using the last word.
I think the exotic weapons you get from Xur should have one less perk, compared to the people that "earned" them.
Don't come at me with "Oh, but I did earn it! I worked hard for the strange coins." My response to that is. ..no..no you didn't. You could have easily been CARRIED through the weekly heroic strikes. You could have had a Bunch saved up from decoding engrams, doing public events. .etc.
The people that EARNED their exotics should have the better of the two. We grinded week after week in hopes of obtaining that of which we seek. We did our nightfalls, we did six runs of crota each week, we got the gorgon chest on our characters, We played countless Vanguard ROC strikes and we played countless amounts of PVP matches and when we FINALLY get it, We feel great...people who "xurn" stuff can't say they earned it. It fell into their lap.

You don't earn anything in random drops any less than you do with coins. You can still get carried through a nightfall, raid or crucible and come out with any exotic

RNG lover! Who cares really? This is a ridiculous argument that you've only rehashed and it's been rehashed over and over. Xur is another option to exotics and you have to work to get those too. Only people who can't handle themselves in the crucible cry about this or any other weapon.

I've been looking for The Last Word since I started playing. Found it on the wiki, read about it, I truly loved it even before I had it because of the lore behind it, how it looks, everything. Since I hit level 20 and started grinding on playlists and, later on, Raids, I've got a lot of Exotics, just a small part of them from Xûr, but I wasn't really looking for them (although I did like them a lot). So much -blam!-ing time grinding for a weapon and nothing, Xûr came this weekend and sells it, I buy it, did I earn it? According to you, no, but who the -blam!- are you to come and say who deserves a weapon and who doesn't? Rewards are pure luck, Xûr's inventory is pure luck, everything in this game is just a bunch of randomness you dumb-blam!-. You don't "deserve" any of the weapons you had, you just had bad luck and didn't receive them earlier. Grinding doesn't make you worthy, it's just the bit or -blam!-ing lot of effort it takes to get a good weapon, now stop bitching about Xûr's buyers and play.

Drops are random lol so if you earned yours by missions and stuff it was random. So how exactly would you earn a weapon other than destiny messaging you for your hard work and presenting you an exotic gun.

2 RepliesPlus im just saying it is RNG a Random Number Generator. Which means that once that number reaches it point it gives you the chance to get a good weapon. Which means when you do a ROC strike you can get a Ghorn. Which is not earning if you run through a strike that is super easy and just kill the boss it isnt earning. So when you say earn you really aren't but when ypu do the weekly's and get the strange coins you are guranteed a exotic which you buy from Xur. So when your saying Xur ruins the game just think to yourself that he gurantees you exotics and when you do VoG and don't get an exotic . Dont get mad because you are guranteed an exotic which you didn't buy because he ruins the game. In your eyes, but in most peoples eyes he doesn't . Because where would you get your heavy ammo synthesis ? From the gunsmith? No you buy it from Xur . What do you think would happen if xur didn't sell heavy ammo synthesis. There would be tons of people doing the heavy ammo glitch, because who wants to waste 950 glimmer on 1 synthesis. I know that i dont because that would be to big of a hassle to go do a glimmer farm get 950 glimmer and then just spend it all away. What if Xur didn't sell the upgrades for the weapons that are only 300 damage at max. Tons of people would have been pissed with bungie . Because they would half to go out and get the same exact gun just to upgrade to max. So what if Xur didn't sell exotic shards ? Then you would half to rely on a exotic to drop for you which you didn't want so you could dismantle it and then upgrade it with that. Last what if , but what if Xur didnt sell exotic engrams. Then you would have to rely on Xur or the RNG in the nightfall only to get your exotic armour. I know i'm going to get haters saying that you have to do raids. Then why do you see people on the bottom of the crucible boards getting ghorn.

Well then you didn't earn it then did you, as such you earned nothing that comes from that playstation or xbox, so by thinking the way you do, buying a weapon makes no difference as rng is still not earning. Also if you think that one gun can ruin pvp then you're obviously bad, every gun can be countered.

1 - Yes, you can be carried through the weekly heroic to earn strange coins. But can't you also be carried through raids to earn drops? (I am not a raider, going by what I read here.) 2 - Why is it a problem if you go up against people in Crucible who have the same weapon as you? Do you want to win because you have better equipment as opposed to winning because you have more skill? Why even play the game if you want the outcome to be predetermined?
