So whats wrong with Undying Mind again?
This strike is by far one of the best strikes in the game... its a lot of fun especially if you have a Void shotgun to test out.

Agreed! This is my favourite, especially playing as a titan and putting a ward of dawn at the stairs (while wearing helm of saint) so they all walk through it and get blinded! Then its rocket time!

If they made that strike have glimmer rewards for the blue Polyphage, I'd be down to play it. Without glimmer, it just seems a bit tedious to me. That, and the majors don't count towards bounties from what I have heard.

2 RepliesIt does suffer from tedium even if I like it. The precursor majors don't count as Vex nor Vex majors, so you can't complete bounties nor gain glimmer by killing them. Undying Mind is a more annoying version of Sekrion except with a trishield and slightly better accuracy.

2 RepliesLove it with my warlock for that reason but with my Titan it was meh. Takes twice as long as other strikes (been gee kilt timing the different ones recently).

1 ReplyI use the swordbreaker and obsidian mind for the precursors section, its fun to chain nova bomb after nova bomb and creating a shit ton of orbs. Other than that it just takes way too long

1 ReplyI wait to see if people do it. If both leave, then I do otherwise it's a fun strike. When the undying mind spawns, go on top of the portal and shotgun him. He uses his detonate and can't hurt you. You can get a decent amount of hits in before he starts moving.

1 ReplySolution to MAjors problem in Undying Mind strike: Focus your teammates into making orbs, then have each player in turn use thier special to make orbs, rinse repeat, win!!!

3 RepliesIts a reused mission that had been cut out After joe staten left and the whole story collapsed and bungie left us with that grimoire replacement of a story .. So no its a storymission and no strike.. Just see where it starts conpared to the strikes ..( who all start in a Public space) No glimmer and no rep make this strike a waste of time ..

2 RepliesThe fact I have to go against an army of majors and I don't get glimmer (I would be happy with 12.5 glimmer per kill and 25 with those axiomatic doohikies). Also, if I remember right those majors don't count towards the bounty to kill majors (this may or may not be wrong. I forget)
