I totally agree. With story missions, strikes, and even raids I can't stop thinking "if only these encounters were procedurally generated, mixing up enemies and modifiers each time." Familiar with Halo's firefight mode and it's huge replayability I feel confident they're pushing this mode out to keep things fresh.
It's easy to criticize something that can't be defended with facts. Until we have more concrete info all we can do is keep rolling our eyes at the naysayers. Sure it's a bummer the next raid is not coming as soon as we thought. But that doesn't make the potential of the Arena any less exciting for me.
