Honestly, I feel as if though the Prison of Elders is going to be a breath of fresh air for destiny. The Crota raid was a disappointment and VoG got stale after the first few times. Four alternating arenas with objectives is going to allow for a constantly changing and interesting survival/arena experience. Plus there is going to be some sweet new loot drops and bosses included. It's like a raid that changes every week! Personally I wish it was 6 player survival instead of only 3... But either way I'm exited.

Ill give it a fair chance, but chances are Im gonna quit in like a month after the release drops. Horde mode is really not that fun to me. If you play it enough then you learn and memorize the spawn points also what enemy types you will face. And yeah a raid is the same way as well. The difference between a raid and horde mode is that a raid can offer more challenges and secrets for fun. CE does not really count as a raid it was just a longer strike, but VOG now that was a raid when we where all first doing it. Gorgons, jump puzzle, hidden chests from boss fights, it had everything. So hopefully if bungie and activision want to have any real player base left come November then they will need a major overhaul and actually deliver on the promises this time around to keep this game alive for 10 years. Once Tom Clancy's the Division drops I see Destiny becoming almost extinct the next day.
