So i was trying to play destiny the other day, but i was unable to connect to destiny servers.
Every time i am able to select my character, then when i try to go to the tower or any other mission i keep getting error code elderberry. Note : i have ps plus subscription, and my NAT Type is 2 (open)
and i get these error codes as well : Chicken, cacao, honeydew, bee.
Here are the things that i tried :
- Restart my PS4
- Refresh my router
- Connect using eithernet cable and WiFi
- Deleted and reinstalled destiny
- Restored my license
- Tried to connect using my friends account
- Tried port forwarding

Don't drive yourself crazy trying to figure it out, I too suffer an insane amount of barnyard animal errors followed by disconnects. But it is inconsistent, sometimes I can play for hours uninterrupted (usually later in the evenings).....And sometimes I can't go 5 mins. without a disconnect (usually at peak times). I have been an Xbox live member for more than 10 years, played more games than I care to count and never had an issue like this....I think the game is just that popular, it is the only thing I can think of...there are just too many people playing at certain times. While frustrating at times, I do love this game. I will continue to play and hope whatever is going on gets sorted. About the only thing you can do is walk away if you find yourself constantly disconnected and try again later...Good luck!

I received Cacao and lion on my PS4, all of which Bungie recommends troubleshooting Network Connections, IE Wireless to wired connection, problem with me is I'm already a wired connection, so I'm at a loss, but as I said Bungie suggest troubleshooting your Network Options, sorry i couldn't help out more.
