It's not so simple. It's perception of value. There are PSN games that cost the same and arguably offer much more. See: Hotline Miami; Child of Light It's not 15 bucks. It's what that 15 bucks GETS YOU, without mentioning the wait time between Crota and HoW (which is significant).

Call of Duty map packs are a comparable price, and give 3 maps and a weapon skin. Halo map packs were the same back in the day, and didn't even give a skin. Just the maps. No one complains about those. So why does Destiny get so much flack for offering more?

Edited by M DuBBS 303: 4/14/2015 10:27:50 PMDoes CoD receive no burn for that? Different people value things differently. If an individual thinks HoW is too much for the price, it's a fair assessment. Same goes for the person who thinks the price is fine. Remember that CoD has 1 year lifespan. Destiny needs to hold players for much longer. Destiny's viability demands longer player retention. I want Destiny to endure, my fingers are crossed. Edit: P.S. I have season pass, and I would buy stand alone HoW.

Edited by BasilGoldsack NZ: 4/16/2015 2:53:13 AMCoD receives far, far less burn compared to Destiny in regards to DLC content and pricing, that it may as well be nonexistant. I do agree that value is assessed by the individual, and I thank you for writing as such in a polite manner. I guess I'm just tired of seeing people condemn Destiny for offering the content per DLC that it does, while completely ignoring the fact that other shooters have released less content for a comparable price, both in the past and in the present day.
